Pssst! My shipping secret is...

I have been holding off on writing this post because I wasn't sure if I really wanted to share my "secret" with the whole wide Internet. But since my mind has been blank the last few days, this is the only thing I can think to blog about.

My subject is the United States Post Office. I usually go there at least a few times a month to support Blake's eBay habit. I'm not sure if it's just my area, but I have found my post office to always be packed! Rarely is it just a quick errand. I have horrible memories of Sadie throwing tantrums while we stood in the long, slow line. I have always dreaded shipping packages. That is, until I discovered the self-serve kiosk.

I'm not usually one for those self-serve devices but since using the one at my local post office, I have saved so much time. I use to try to avoid going to the post office but now I'm not even bothered when a parking space is hard to come by. I walk in, see the huge line, walk by it, and go directly to the kiosk. I work my magic and am out of there in less than 2 minutes. It's great!

I didn't want to share my shipping secret because I feared spreading the word could result in long lines for the kiosk, too. But then I realized that most of the people that read my blog don't live close by so I think my secret is still safe here in Orem, Utah.

So, if you haven't tried it out already, you should definitely start taking advantage of this little time saver.

I too, am a huge fan of the kiosk. Once I discovered how fast it was, it changed my whole outlook on going to the post office!

You can always do what Cathy does and buy a kiosk yourself. That would save you some time I am sure, but it would definitely cost you some money. You know how Cathy does it though.
