Get a watch!

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people are late. I have to be careful when writing this post because I am pretty passionate about this topic and I don't want to come across rude or angry. It's just I don't really understand why some people are always late. Do they not own clocks?

When someone is late, they are telling me that their time is more valuable than mine. So basically, it's okay for me to sit around waiting, wondering if I had the time wrong all because the other person didn't practice time management.

I think it goes without saying that sometimes, for reasons out of your control, you are going to be late. But at least pick up the phone and let the other person know! One of the worst feelings to me is being late myself. I feel horrible and I sort of go into panic mode (Blake can confirm this).

Alright. I'll get off my soap box now.

I used to be late more frequently, but I'm getting much better. My problem is that I always try to use every last second I have to get things done, and I often overestimate how much I can accomplish in a certain amount of time. If my being tardy is going to make someone else wait, I remind myself of the concept you mentioned, too.

I am very much like you Lindsey. I start to sort of hyperventilate if I know I am going to be late. It makes me crazy. Sometimes I get myself into a mental frenzy, only to arrive five minutes late and find I'm the first one there!!!
