She's definitely a girl!

As Sadie and I were getting ready to run some errands today, I noticed that her toes were busting over the sides of her sandals. Her current shoes were from Payless and since one of our stops was by a Payless, we went in. They didn't have the sandals I wanted so I after I had picked out about 3 pair for her to try on, I decided we were out of luck and was ready to leave. Well, Sadie had other plans. She wanted to keep trying on shoes. She would pick out the ugly Dora velcro shoes and want to put them on. I let her. She would walk around in them for awhile and admire herself in the mirror and then would pick out the next pair she wanted to model. She was loving it! I got a kick out of it and we weren't in a hurry so I let her try on shoes for about 20 minutes. After about the tenth pair, the sales associates started watching us so I started to put Sadie's old sandals on so we could go. Well, she wasn't have ANY of it! She threw a tantrum! You know, arching her back, kicking, screaming... Basically anything to keep us from leaving. Since I'm bigger than her, I was able to wrestle her shoes back on and I dragged an upset little girl out to the car. I guess the next time I want to go do something fun with Sadie, we'll skip the park and head straight for the shoe store!

LOL

I still can't decide if she's getting spoiled or just hitting the terrible twos. Whatever the case, she can be a fastidious little booger. :)
