There aren't too many things that I am embarrassed to blog about. Yes, there are a few things I keep to myself, but most of the time I am pretty candid when it comes to my posts. That being said, I have struggled on my topic for today. I have hesitated to write about something that has been such a huge embarrassment since I was a teen. What I am talking about you ask? The answer is pitting out. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, ever since I started 8
th grade, I have been plagued by sweaty armpits. I have had to be careful with what types of shirts I wear. Grey has always been a definite no, no. Most of my high school years, I would carry around a sweatshirt to wear so that I could feel semi-comfortable around my classmates. Now that I am married, I still sweat. Most days I have those awful wet circles under my arms. It's even worse when I am nervous. I have always been self-conscious about this problem of mine. That is, until now.
Introducing,
Secret's Clinical Strength Deodorant. I was skeptical when I first saw a commercial advertising this new product but thought I would try out the free sample they mail you if you sign up on their site. I have been using it now for a little over two weeks and my wet underarm days are gone. You apply it at night and it works it's magic. I have been so impressed. It is a little expensive ($7.98 at
Walmart) but if anyone else has this problem, I think you would agree that it's worth every penny.
So, if there are any readers out there who find themselves with a similar problem, don't let my
embarrassing post be in vain. I encourage you to
go get your free sample and try it out! Trust me, I'm a new woman because of it!
*F.Y.I. - If anyone has access to a military base, my Mom informed me that this deodorant can be purchased for $5.00 at the Commissary.

I went right out and bought this deodorant because like you sweaty armpits hve been a nightmare for me! Thank you Grandpa Dave for passing on this lovely gene. I could not wait for the sample! Hope I have the same success you have had! Thanks for sharing an embarrassing blog. I think more people deal with this than we know!
Oh, Lindsey! I think we are twins separated at birth!
As soon as I caught up with my Utah posts, I was going to blog about the deoderant, too. I, too, have a serious sweating problem. It dictates what I wear and how far I can lift my arms. I tried prescription deoderant once, but that hurt really, really badly!
So now I'm a Secret girl. I find that it works pretty dang well. Applying it at night is a little frustrating because it doesn't go along with my regular schedule, but I am definitely hooked. I'd pay $20 for it, if I had to.
Don't be ashamed of your post. It'll help someone like us. And that makes me really happy!
Hi Ladies,
I have been sweating more than I would like since my teen years, too. I can't help but share my product recommendation. I have been using Certain Dri Antiperspirant for the past 3 years (that's when I heard about it). It contains 12% aluminum chloride, the strongest ingredient available in over the counter antiperspirants (my derm recommended it). It only costs $5.50 and I only need to apply it 2-3 times a week at night. Big difference in price compared to the Secret product, which needs to be applied two times a day, in the night and in the morning. Certain Dri is giving away $1,000 for a shopping spree, too.Learn more about it if you want at certaindri.com. Or don't...better chance for me to win!!!! :)
Thanks anonymous! I'll have to try that out!
I found this blog and entry through Carlee's website. THANK YOU! I went right out and bought this...and it's GREAT! Now I can make it through an entire day at work without putting a sweater on to cover the horrible sweat stains. Thanks again!
I was googling and found your blog. Looking for info on pitting out. Have you ever heard of SDLA? It's a non-evasive surgical procedure that reduces the It's crazy but totally works. No more sweat stains for real. E-mail if you want to know a little more.
