Walking and dancing

Sadie and I went on a walk this afternoon. I was avoiding the laundry and Sadie just loves being outside. We have a great neighborhood for walking. As I was pushing Sadie in her stroller, we came to a 4-way stop. While we were waiting for our turn to cross the street, a car blasting music pulled up next to us. People from about a mile away could probably hear Eminem rap.

I looked down at Sadie and immediately started laughing when I saw her dancing. She was enjoying herself as she pumped her arms up and down to the beat. I looked up at the young driver because he, too, had seen Sadie and was laughing to himself.

As the car drove away, Sadie turned and watched it speed off. I was still laughing. With Sadie around, there is never a dull moment.

Leave it to a cute little 18th month old to find the joy in the loud music of others! Maybe we could learn a thing or two from her!
