Taste of home

When Blake and I went to Seattle last year, I took him to Ivar's. It's a famous seafood restaurant located in the city on the pier. Blake fell in love with the clam chowder. I have to agree that it is very tasty.

So we were both thrilled when Laci and Eric came over last night to drop off an exciting find at Costco. Yes, since Costco and Ivar's are Seattle based companies, you can buy the delicious soup at the wonderful store. We were anxious to see how it tasted. Blake added the milk, let it simmer and 15 minutes later, we were in heaven. It was like being in Seattle all over again. I could almost feel the raindrops on my face.

Thanks Laci and Eric for bringing a little of Seattle into our lives last night! The clam chowder was wonderful!

I usually don't like clam chowder, but maybe I'll try this one. Thanks for the tip! Oh, wait -- I don't think we have a Costco in Atlanta. Darn.

I would love to drive up the Pacific coast and try all the differnt clam chowders offered. I feel that San Fran would be in the top and same with Seattle. Now who would be THE TOP is the question!

Sara, there is a Costco up in Sandy Springs by the temple. I could have called her to tell her that, but it isn't as fun!
