No more clicks for me

When I watch TV, I watch several shows at once. I switch through the shows during the commercials. There are times when I am watching 3 shows at once. This works for me. What doesn't work is when the remote control is broken.

Our remote is on it's last leg. It's been trying to say "goodbye" for several months now. It has stopped working here and there but it has always come back to us. This time however, I think it's the real thing. I think we have lost it. Now when I want to change the channel or adjust the volume, I have to get up, walk to the TV and then press the buttons on the TV. What a pain. The days of watching multiple shows are over for me. I must learn to be a commercial watcher.

I realize this post makes me sound lazy. I don't really care because the act of watching TV is already pretty lazy. So, when I have made the decision to be lazy and watch TV, I want to be completely lazy. To me, having to get up to change the channel defeats the purpose of watching TV. Poor me.

You should go buy a new remote. I think you can get universal remotes at Wal-Mart. If you have satellite or anything, call the company and request a new remote. I agree with you. When you choose to be lazy, you need to be completely lazy or it defeats the purpose. :)

We tried using a universal remote but my brother found out that the type of TV we have, doesn't work with those. What I need to do is just get on the internet and see if I can buy a replacement. Again, it's a matter of being lazy...
