So the other night as I was getting ready for bed, I read this on the wrapper of my pad:
"Have a happy period."
I don't know about you, but "happy" has never been a word I have used to describe my period. This must of either been written by a man who has obviously never had a period or by a woman who, well has never had a period either.
Ha, ha. That's funny because every time I see that slogan (or whatever you call it), I think, "Uh. Yeah, right. WHO thought of that?" They should just leave it alone -- every girl knows periods suck.
Have a nice period?!!! Right! Who in the world came up with that one?!! Only nice period I know of it NO period at all! The twenty something days of the month when you don't have to worry about it!
It's like another way of saying goodbye. "Thanks for coming over. Let's do this again some time. Call me okay. Bye! Have a happy period!" It just doesn't work.
Leezy Lindsey is a blog written by a twenty something mother, Lindsey Snow. It is a collection of thoughts, ideas, things I like, and the adventures or misadventures of my family. I enjoy photography, cooking, tennis, reading, and going out to eat.

The irony... I don't know if I would call that good or bad marketing...
PS Linds, it is nice to have you back! It sounded like August was a great month. Hey when is Sadie's bday?
Jacki, Sadie's birthday is Oct. 4. I can't believe it's almost been a year. And thanks, it's nice to be back!
