Our friends invited us to go to a rodeo tonight. We just got back. This was the first rodeo I have been to and I am shocked to say that I had a really good time. Here I was surrounded by cowboy hats and tight jeans and I was enjoying myself. I felt a little silly in my flip flops but other than that, I think I did a pretty good job of blending in with the more experienced rodeo goers.The announcer was very energetic and gave the crowd a good laugh. He kept us entertained during and in between the different events. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced I might add. The music made you want to tap your toes. The crowd was very into the show and clapped especially hard for the cowboys that fell off their horse a little too early.
Tonight I had good wholesome fun. I'm glad Blake and I have friends that actually know about the fun things going on around here and I am especially glad they invite us along!
