Lazy shopper

After going shopping with my sister last night, I realized I am what some would call a lazy shopper. I don't enjoy going through the sale racks. I walk into a store, look around and if nothing catches my eye, I'm onto the next store.

There are several reasons I don't like to go through the sale racks. The main reason is it's always very crowded in that area of the store. Another reason is they almost never have anything good in my size. When I'm daring enough to sift through the mounds of clothes on sale, I will usually find a shirt or pair of pants that I like. The only problem is it's usually an extra extra small!

Something else I do quite often is see something at a store I like, talk myself into not buying it and then go back to the store the next day to make the purchase. For example, last week while I was at Target, I saw a clock radio for Sadie's room. It was even on clearance. I wasn't really in a shopping mood and decided not to buy it. When I got home, I regretted not buying the radio. I spent the rest of the night thinking about that radio and hoping someone wouldn't buy it before I could get back to the store. The next day, I went back to Target and bought the radio.

What kind of shopper are you?

I'm definitely a lazy shopper as well. I've never had as good an eye for fashion as Lexi and Summer and could never really make the sale items work for me. I need a few guidelines when it comes to clothes. Plus, I just don't like spending a long time in one store. You're right; things need to be eye-catching.

What's my solution to lazy shopping? The internet, of course! I've probably gotten 80% of my clothes from the last 3 years online. And I love it.

I prefer the phrase "Selective Shopper" but basically, yeah, I'm a lazy shopper, too.

Last Christmas, my mom and I went shopping with my brother's girlfriend. She's in the A-1 classification of shopping -- hones in on a piece of clothing and nothing or nobody stands in her way (which is funny because, otherwise, she's quiet and mild-mannered). I'm the "survey the entire store when I walk through the door and systematically comb through the store from left to right covering every square inch" type of shopper. I don't even touch an article of clothing if nothing catches my eye. Anyway, long story short, she told my brother that my mom and I weren't aggressive shoppers and that the whole time she wanted to tell us to stop walking around and SHOP! I was a little offended at first, then I realized that -- you know what? -- I'm not a girly girl shopper type. And neither is my mom.

Oh I am a "Sale Shopper". I don't think that I have ever bought anything full price. I usually go to buy-back stores and sift through all of their stuff to find cute cheap clothing. I love to just buy things. And I pride myself on finding good deals. I don't normally talk myself out of buying anything, I talk myself into buying because I tell myself I can always return it. And I normally do.

But I do have to be in the shopping mood. If I am not in the mood, I won't even step foot into a store.

I have been internet shopping for the past 6 years! I love EBAY and internet shopping. Dont like to try stuff on any more in a store. So Old fashioned. Plus I think the internet is going to have a devastating effect on malls and strip malls alike in the next 10 years. I am glad I can get my way around the net to find the things I need and want and don't need. Plus you can always return them from home with the snazzy new labels! I'd say Lazy SHOPPER! But I did like shopping with you for drapery fabric and stuff with Sadie!
