Best news I've had all day

I love watching the previews before the movie starts. This includes the previews when I rent movies. I'm not so interested in them if it's an older movie, but I enjoy watching them on any new releases.

The other night Blake and I were watching "Chronicles of Narnia." The first preview was for the release of "The Little Mermaid" on DVD this October. I LOVE "The Little Mermaid!" It's probably one of my favorite movies. I have great memories of going to the theatre when I was a little girl. I remember being very scared when Ursula became huge and tried to take over the ocean. I loved taking baths and pretending I was Ariel. I would sing her songs and splash around while keeping my legs together. I had "Little Mermaid" pajamas and a pillow case with Ariel and Flounder on it. I have been waiting for this day to come. I know what Sadie's getting for her 1st birthday!

What movie reminds you of your childhood?

HAHA! I laughed out loud when I read the part about swimming in the tub! I forgot all about that! It was fun, wasn't it?

I really like "Sleeping Beauty" and "Lady and the Tramp." The Siamese cats scene? It's really a thing of sheer genius.

(And I, too, can't get enough of movie previews. They're great!)

It was "Little Mermaid" for me. I saw it in the theaters 17 times. The first time I saw "The Little Mermaid" I cried so hard when she left her dad at the end. SAPP!!! I know. But "Part of Your World" was my song!! So many home videos with me singing that song...

"The Sound of Music" is another one. And "Annie".
