I just wanted to let everybody know that I did my last load of laundry today in this apartment building's community laundromat. It is such a relief to know that I no longer need to hoard my quarters. To make the occasion even more bittersweet, I spent about $4.00 to dry 1 load of whites. This may seem cheap for those who live in New York but here in Provo, it should only cost 50 cents!!! Maytag commercial dryers? I think not.

Community laundry. Yuck. That's one reason I'm glad I didn't get a job in NYC!
I love the thought that my clothes are possibly being washed in the same place as a person who has foot fungus, lice, or just doesn't bathe. I know, hot water kills germs. What about cold water, though, Sara? $8 - $10, that's how much it costs me to do my laundry.
Now it will be easier to wash your clothes after each time you wear them! Oh how I don't miss doing your laundry :)
Just wanted to comment that I love the title. I can't help but think of the SNL skit with David Spade and that girl from Mad About You on the plane.
Classic.
