Four Months and Going Strong

Sadie had her fourth month check up today. She weighs 11 lbs. 12 oz. and is 25 inches long! She is in the second percentile in weight and eighty-fifth in height! She's a long, skinny girl! The doctor was pleased with her development. She is doing exactly what she should be doing. She can hold herself up with her arms while on her tummy and has great eye contact. She is getting really good with her hands. She has started to grab for things and they go right to her mouth. She has started to be quite the slobber machine. The front of her shirt is soaked 10 minutes after I put it on her. I have to keep a bib on her to soak most of it up. My favorite new trick of hers is that she has started to laugh. It's this deep belly laugh that is sooo cute! Her face lights up and I really can't think of anything that makes me happier.

Four months has gone by fast. It's crazy to think that this time last year, I was barely pregnant. Our little family sure has been blessed this past year. Blake is loving his job and I don't think he could have written a better job description for himself. We have started looking for our first house and it seems like a dream. We found one tonight that I like very much. (hint hint Blake) The whole process of buying a home is overwhelming but I am looking forward to this new adventure and chapter in our lives.

Thank you to our family and friends for all of your love and support.

I know, I know -- Sadie looks like Blake. But really, I see so much of you in her, Lindsey. You two must just match very well!

I'm so excited for you guys! To have a baby with the person you love? I don't know if anything could make me happier, either.

You guys are cute.

Long and skinny... looks like Aunt Laci and Jacki will have a ballerina in the family!!! YES!!! You guys are good people and it is always fun seeing good things happen for good people!
