I cannot decide whether or not I like snow.
I like watching it fall. There is something so peaceful about snow falling. Everything seems so quiet. It's beautiful how it covers the trees and makes everything seem clean. I loved when it snowed while I was growing up in Washington because that meant school would be cancelled. Now, that I live in Utah, forget it. Nothing shuts down when it snows here. I love sledding. It's not as much work as skiing or snowboarding but I still get the same thrill. I have good memories of piling in the car as a family and driving up to the mountains. We would park the car on the side of the road and find a good hill to spend the afternoon sledding down.
Now, I HATE driving in the snow. ESPECIALLY in Utah. People are crazy here. I don't know...maybe I am the only one that has a car that peels out every time I push on the gas. Not only do my tires spin but the car slides everywhere. One of the scariest feelings is not being in control of the car.
So in conclusion, I have decided that I like the snow. I just don't like driving in it.
